Adopt
a Social Worker
Working
with an assigned Social Worker from D.H.S. in dealing with families
or individuals that are encountering difficulties in life. Prayer
for worker and client is top priority.
Body
and Soul
Our
health ministries partners with several entities including the
Arthritis Foundation, Central Oklahoma Turning Point, State
Department of Health and others.
Evangelism/Outreach
We
are developing plans for a food bank, clothes closet, and a resource
referral center here at HTBC. We need volunteers to help in locating
and facilitating the assistance of those in need.
Faith
to Government, Inc.
This
is a community ministry based on covenant relations to provide
services to the community around mentoring youth and adults,
economic development, and community development. Training is
available.
HIV/AIDS
Testing Center
We
are preparing to open a testing center here at the church, D.H.S.
will provide a three day workshop for those interested, it will be
here at HTBC. We will be doing testing, counseling, and education
awareness.

encourage members to buy a home.
Marriage
Ministry
We
will be sponsoring the P.R.E.P. (Prevention and Relationship
Enhancement Program). Training periodically, training master couples
to work with young couples, Pre-marriage counseling and sponsoring
marriage and relationship workshops and events.

Committing
to giving the school two to five hours a week in many various
capacities (Reading, tutoring, encouraging, etc.).
Rebuilding

Rebuilding
Together with Christmas in April, co-ordinates repairs by
volunteers, to the homes of elderly homeowners in need in the
Oklahoma City metropolitan area to make homes safe, secure, and
weatherproof, so that aging residents can remain in their home
independently and with dignity.
Soonerhaven
We
are in the process of planning a teaching, counseling, mentoring
ministry at this location. Training will be available.
Whiz
Kids
We
are in need of tutors, food workers, and adult supervision for the
children who come each week to be aided in their reading skills.
